THIS IS THE WORST BUILDING EVER YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN APT DO NOT COME HERE ! The management here is nasty and unhelpful they don’t want to help everthing you try to teach management you get nasty emails back and front this is the worst place to live if you have kids I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THE PLACE SMELL LIKE WEED and people smoke everywhere! This is -0 it’s disgusting and nasty do not move here
This star is for maintenance, the concierge, and the cleaning staff. They all do their best to help with whatever they can. The removal of the 4 stars is for Fairfield management, and their utter lack of regard for residents-who pay a premium, by the way. This review is prompted by the utterly ridiculous, unsafe, and inequitable elevator issues. The elevator in my building had broken at least 10-15 times in this last year. It is always “fixed”, before it goes out of commission again. It is out of service yet again today. The last time it happened, I happened to see one of the firefighters (someone had gotten stuck!!)-he shared that the Fire Marshall’s office has fined Fairfield several times. They simply pay the fee. He also said, “I wouldn’t take these elevators if I lived here.”
I’ll start with the good news about this place. The concierge and the maintenance staff were excellent. My apartment was not ready for me at move in. It was filthy. The dishwasher was broken. I highlighted this while I was touring the unit. I was reassured it would be fixed by the time I moved in. At move-in, there was still standing water in the dishwasher, which made the apartment reek. Fairfield proceeded to call a vendor to come in to fix it and when the vendor finally came, he wasn’t able to fix it and had to order a part. I had to escalate to management after 3 weeks after move-in of not having a dishwasher for them to finally fix the problem. Updated review: After almost 2 years here, I must say stomping noise level really depends on whoever lives above you. New neighbor makes less noise and it’s more tolerable. I also want to add our concierge Steve has provided the best service. It’s important to form relationships with the tenants and he has gone above and beyond at Fairfield! He listens and does everything to ensure problems are solved. Steve ensures safety at all times and we appreciate him! I’ve really enjoyed living here the past few months. Most neighbors are really friendly and I’ve made new friends. Really does feel homey. I left one star out only because of noise level. When we first moved in 2 years ago, things were great. The fitness area is a great attribute, and though many machines did not work I believed it was more due to Covid than anything else. However.. it’s been two years and many machines are either unplugged indefinitely or just plain do not work. Sincerely hope people see past this selling point. Steve and Jacques are awesome concierges and have made living in these apartments a pleasant experience. The leasing and billing team however is extremely unprofessional due to their unresponsiveness. When asked for clarity and general information regarding our lease break, they sent me to an answering machine or an indefinite hold line time after time.
