😡🙁🙄 I no longer live here, but I know several that still do. Here's a few facts that you may want to think about: • Fact: Heavy roach infestation problem. • Fact: Absolutely no soundproofing in the walls and floors. You hear EVERYTHING in the neighboring apartments. • Fact: The number of washers and dryers in the not-so-well-cleaned laundry rooms are highly inadequate for the number of tenants living here. Be prepared to play musical laundry rooms, in order to get 1 load done. • Fact: Very few tenants clean up after their dogs — and management does nothing about it. • Fact: Accepts Section 8 — and all the ... “BENEFITS” ... that go along with it. • BEWARE ... My roommate and I moved in to our new apartment at Eagle Rock yesterday and the leasing office made the process so easy. We had a tour of available apartments with Keron who was kind, informative, and made us feel comfortable through their communication skills, giving us space to explore, and their willingness to answer any and all questions that came up. After we put in the application, we were in consistent contact with Linda, who was not only easy to talk to, but also very helpful during every stage of the process. Linda answered every question we had (which were a lot, given that this is our first place of our own) and walked us through the steps we needed to take. The only thing positive I can say about this place is the few maintenance workers. Other than that, they will milk you for every dollar you have while grossly overcharging for their mediocre apartments. Where do I begin. We were told outside grills for the community to use were in working condition… after a full year not even a gas line was connected. The washer and dryer… prices were raised by 25 cents without mentioning anything to anyone. They were constantly broken and often barely worked when they were running. They are so small that it would cost upwards of $10 every single load of laundry. We paid a $60+ water bill. For anyone that has any knowledge of how insane this is for a 600 sqft apt for 2 people that are rarely ever home, this is absolutely absurd. We reached out about this w

We stayed at Eagle Rock in Mineola for a little under a year, while our house was under construction. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. We felt home, and the staff made us feel welcome. Linda at the office was very accommodating, and the maintenance crew was very responsive. Oscar fixed things promptly and neatly. One thing that could use an improvement was the laundry area, where machines were out of repair often, but overall no big deal. In the warmer spring weather, there were some ants coming in from the outside, but that was taken care of promptly. There were no cockroaches as some reviews note, but occasional water bugs (which look a bit like big roaches) in the laundry area. Again, that was no big deal and taken care of right away. This is my first week here, but I couldn't be happier with my choice. The location is absolutely ideal – I'm within walking distance of everything I need, from grocery stores and restaurants to public transportation. One of the things I appreciate most about this complex is the cleanliness of the facilities. The common areas seen well-maintained, and my apartment was spotless at walk thru. But what truly sets Eagle Rock apart is the staff. Linda and Keron are so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure that my stay is as pleasant as possible. Whether it's assisting with maintenance requests or providing information about things, they're amazing. Overall, I highly recommend Eagle Rock Mineola to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to live.
