Another horrible review for Melanie who won't ever get on the phone. I had a leak in my condo this week due to ice dams, which are on the roof and supposed to be cared for BY THE HOA!!!! She has dodged me for multiple days, making me play phone tag with her receptionists and them forever saying she will "get back to me". On my fourth day of calling I was informed she will only communicate via email. Unbelievable and extremely disheartening for a company we pay over $500 a month for them to maintain. This is the second issue she has been useless in assisting with as I had one a year ago as well. Unfortunately, I am stuck with this management but if I had a choice I would not be using or recommending them to anyone.

My mom lives in a ground-floor condo in a building "managed" by Empire, and the assigned property manager is Melanie. Over the holidays there was a leak in a shared pipe somewhere above my mom's unit, and the water was dripping into my mom's kitchen. We checked her pipes, and they were all fine. It was obvious to everyone that the leak was coming from outside her condo. However, Melanie - who will never, ever get on the phone; she makes all residents talk to her by leaving and receiving messages through various receptionists - insisted that the leak was mom's responsibility. Totally absurd. Over a week, and the midst of the busy holiday season, we had to call, send emails, and finally get the condo board involved before she sent a plumber out, who finally found the leak on the second floor

I've had an excellent experience with Empire. Not only is their team professional, but they are responsive and will ensure that any issue's you have are resolved. Communication is clear and timely, whether it's handling maintenance requests or answering account related questions.

As a condominium unit owner i never had a better experience with a property management company! Always polite on time and responsive. Highly recommend them!
