Emerald Lakes Apartments

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY if you are looking to rent an apartment in this area. The Promenade and the Enclave are down the street and far superior/same price point and much newer. They have 2 maintenance guys for the entire property. Water is dirty and undrinkable and pests run RAMPANT in this “luxury” community: I have been living with a severe Yellowjacket wasp infestation for 2 months. I can barely use my unit. If I cook, they smell the food and fly at me. I can’t sleep well because they are in my bedroom. Try taking a shower and a wasp flys at you. It’s awful. Disgusting and feels like a horror movie. Not to mention I may be allergic so hopefully I don’t get stung and face severe medical complications. My guess is they did not want to spend the money to hire a professional ext

I have been living here going on two months now and I love it! I have a two bedroom and there is ample space, the neighbors are friendly, and my dog loves how close it is to the park. Further, I have had a couple of issues come up and each has been handled ASAP. Like, faster than I ever imagined possible. 10/10 place to live!

So today we received notice for unsatisfactory living conditions. Which we are in the process of still cleaning out our apartment getting ready to move because this place is terrible. We have stuff piled on the kitchen table and stuff all over the guest bedroom… whatever. Kathy left as manager which never had an issue before. They have a new manager that I tried to call him the day he did our inspection weeks ago and nothing… still nothing.. i have him on camera talking trash and taking pictures of our apartment. He and some kid was going through my stuff and talking about how I was a firefighter and something about our door chocks because our cats keep locking themselves in rooms.… they went into my bedroom and closed the door and was in there a bit. I spoke to him before about the birds

Toured and met with a leading manager today. Charlie was super transparent and genuinely seemed to care about us as applicants. Not many people in the area seem like this. Charlie did a great job!

Office staff helpful. Maintenance is quick to reply. Parking spots are hard to find, we don't pay extra for a garage.
