Edgewater Walk Apartments

On 7/30/25: This morning at 5:26am I had to contact Edgewater Walk Apartment because I only had one toilet and it was clogged. I got a call back at 5:30am saying someone would be here for around one or one and half hours. At 6:24am someone named Don showed up and fixed my clogged toilet. It's early morning and I appreciate Don's diligent work and caring attitude towards my issue. I am so amazed by the Edgewater Walk Apartments management team's quick action on this matter. Sam is super kind, friendly and respectful. From the moment I made my first appointment on the phone with her, her kindness and thoughtfulness caught my heart, since then, she diligently does her best helping me to finish my rental application process. Rent goes up around $100 every year. Even though you may have a young man shouting day and night on his video games, and that other neighbor that’s practicing cartwheels also in the apartment building; you will be blamed for any noise in the middle of the night just because you have kids, even if they have an early bedtime routine! “Well you’re the only one that has kids in the building!” Be careful coming with children, you may even be blamed for that previous dog poop that happened in the laundry room. The new management is very disrespectful and unable to speak with any decency. We all miss the old management at least they spoke to us with kindness. Overall a nice and quiet area to live, apartments inside are decent. Nice amount of parking. Staff in leasing office is terrible however. They do not care about their residents at all. They never get back to you regarding issues you may have in your apartment. Communication non existent across board. Also does not shovel or lay down salt during winter seasons! I fell and dislocated my arm WITH my newborn child in my arms due to lack of salt on ground! Lucky I didn’t sue.

Is it just me or the front lady has some issue with people of color ? I see ads on rental websites that apartments available, but when I come in to check , that same lady being rude just says it’s not , if it from a pure racist point , than I won’t visit this place again , if otherwise I want clarification, thanks

I lived at this complex for 3 years. My neighbors were awesome but not the management. They always expressed concern but Don’t really care. every year the rent Goes up $15-20. Regardless, the fact that my ceiling leaked for 2 years.( it wasn’t attempted to be fix until I told them I wasn’t renewing my lease.) or that it’s a pandemic going on.
