Eastwood at Sonterra by Century Communities

2 months after closing on my brand new Century Communities house water started leaking onto my bathroom ceiling and wall. Century communities sent a worker out and they stated that they fixed the issue. A year later the issue reappeared! John Clark at Century Communities has stated that the issue was due to a “high wind and rain event” and they will not do anything to fix my issue. A new house should not have rain water coming into it! Do better Century Communities!

They installed solar cameras 1-2 weeks ago, you can't sleep, they are very noisy, 1 star if they remove that noise I might rate them better,Until today, June 14, 2025, those noisy cameras continue. I am a resident here and you have to be hearing that all day, night, and early morning. I think the cameras are fine, but without sound. They think that one does not need to rest in their home, company, do something.

We moved in summer of 2023. The advertised /promised neighborhood on-site amenities facility was supposedly being built, but mid-2025 and it not even been developed and the only update is that it’s being discussed. After all these years all we STILL get are vague timelines or answers about it. At this point I feel like the amenities were major false advertising and super frustrating.

My daughter bought a house through Century Communities and she has had serious problems with it. 2 months after moving into her house rain water started leaking into her bathroom and a year later Century Communities still has not fixed the issue.

This is the second home I have helped a client buy from this homebuilder in this community. Love the creative floor plans and quality construction. For VA loan buyers, the home comes with a 1 year termite protection plan that renders the WDI Report not needed by the lender!!! A nice little perk! Their team is responsive and communicative on each step of the process. Love the construction Manager too!!!!! Thank you Missi for helping my clients enjoy the home buying process!!!
