Drees Custom Homes at Meridiana

We cannot and will not recommend Drees Custom Homes. Their negligent and faulty construction caused mold contamination throughout our home. They hired incompetent companies and workers with expired credentials to remediate our home on three different occasions and they were all unsuccessful. We have test revealing mold spore count in the millions, after the three poorly attempted remediations. Now Drees is refusing to remediate the home properly based on the recommendation from a trusted licensed expert. Yet, they are continuing to build inventory homes with no contracts. Look at the BBB reviews and videos from existing Drees owners on TikTok. BUYER'S BEWARE! You have been officially warned.

I could not in good conscience recommend Drees Custom Homes to any potential new home buyer. Move-in was Feb 2023. This was the worst build experience we have ever gone through (we have gone through a few). Most of the issues centered around a lack of project management and very poor workmanship. So many items had to be redone. We have been paying external vendors to have items corrected. Drees has nice looking designs; however, based on my experience, that is where the compliments end.

Spectacular builder! No matter where your eyes wander in the model home... It's first class

Soo far its been excellent, we asked to put a larger home on a 65' lot and they started the variance process even before we contracted. Update 28 July: Drees got the variance, and we are now under contract. Just finished marking up the blueprints for the home we want (added some framing in attic for some future build out plans I have, expanded the garage, customized the kitchen layout and master bath, added massive master closet on rear of the house, and electrical for tesla wall connectors 'chargers', amongst a bunch of other things). Super easy to do, now they're pulling pricing, then we'll move onto full design studio.
