Drees Custom Homes at Caliterra

We moved into a Drees home in Caliterra in 2022. The sales associate Ryan was the first contact and fantastic to deal with- prompt in communication, friendly, and helpful. Above and beyond in terms of the sales process, he has pride in the product he is selling and it shows. The builder John also was great to work with- he sent weekly updates on our home as it was being built. But the main reason we chose Drees was quality and support, based on feedback from others we know that have purchased a Drees home. Alyssa and the warranty team has been top notch and surpassed our expectations after the sale. 11 out of 10. Communication was prompt and clear, they definitely let you know you are in good hands. I definitely recommend a Drees home to anyone considering it!

We have experienced a multitude of issues with Drees Custom Homes; many of which have already been discussed on this review site. It all started in late July/early August 2020 when the builder up and quite two weeks prior to the completion of our house. The individual he was training then took over and he ended up leaving during the (many) repairs that needed to be made (by poorly trained contractors who did not take the time to do the work right the first time and had to come back out, again and again). We have had a scorpion come in through the Western sliding doors (amongst many, many bugs) and were informed by a contractor that there is hardware missing along the track that prevents that; this also explains why the door doesn’t always shut on the first try. Awesome custom homes! After looking at the past reviews, I have to say I'm not sure what happened, but my wife and I have had nothing but the best experience buying in the Caliterra Community in Dripping Springs. Ryan Pace in the sales department has gone above and beyond to keep us abreast of progress and made himself available whenever we had questions. We are moving from the Bay Area and even during the pandemic they have been attentive and great communicators. When we came to visit the design center Logan Watkins continued the tremendous service. Logan was as involved as a member of the family 😆 very good with color matching and textures. He helped us make smart choices and we left feeling happy and excited....lastly, the experience has been so good, I recommended my good friend

Walked into model home today at noon. No acknowledgement from rep - not even a "I'll be with you asap". Yes the rep was with a customer but a hello would be courteous. When my husband finally made his presence known by standing close by -' the rep said, "I'll be with you but I'm leaving in 5 minutes". Poor poor brand representation Drees.
