Merritt Hill Country

I had the chance to spend time at Merritt Hill Country Senior Village recently during a community social, and it was a wonderful experience. The residents were outgoing, friendly, and genuinely enjoyed spending time together. There was a great sense of connection and community throughout the event. Crystal does an excellent job bringing people together and making sure everyone feels included and cared for. It’s clear she puts a lot of thought into the wellbeing and social life of the residents, and it really shows in the atmosphere of the community.

I’ve had the opportunity to spend time at Merritt Hill Country Senior Living on multiple occasions while presenting to residents, and every visit has been a great experience. You can immediately feel how happy the residents are to be there — the atmosphere is warm, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming. A large part of that is thanks to Crystal, the Resident Services Coordinator. She has clearly created a friendly, engaging environment where residents feel supported and connected. You can see the impact of her work in the way residents interact, participate, and truly enjoy being part of the community. Merritt Hill Country Senior Living is a wonderful place, and it’s easy to see why the residents speak so highly of it. Highly recommend.

I knew that the Merritt was where I wanted my new home to be as soon as I met Crystal, the leasing agent, and she took me on a tour. The Merritt is independent living for 55 and beyond. I think it is a beautiful property. An apartment became available for me on September 1, 2025. I find new things I love about it every day. I am still meeting new friends in my aerobics class and the various other activities provided. A person can choose to participate or not. It is a real community. I’m not sure what all of Crystal’s titles are, but in addition to being the leasing agent, she is event coordinator, and so much more. I have lived in Merritt Hill Country two years. I’ve had a great experience and still do. I have made friends. Enjoy the activities they have for us seniors and love the monthly birthday celebrations. The pool is very nice and clean. They have Aerobics and you earn Merritt dollars. They have trips to HEB, to the mall, Bingo days, theater days and arts and crafts. Crystal is the office manager and is very helpful and nice. ❤️

My wife & I moved here from Washington and we just love it here. Lots to do and has nice dog parks for our little guy. Walking area, swimming, rec rooms, just lots to do. Come join in or not its a no pressure place. Crystal is just a sweetheart and works hard to make us all happy. She makes event fun and residents also hold activies. We have beauty shop for everyone. Everything is so handy. Come visit. Its a special place with special people..Have a community bus and a great maintance guy.
