Del Webb Desert Retreat

We visited Del Webb Desert Retreat this weekend to tour the community and models. We were greeted by a receptionist who took our information and directed us to the model home gallery. There are 10 model homes to walk through, which gives a good sense of the floorplans and layouts. One important thing to note: the property tax rate is not listed online or on the pricing sheets. We were told in person that it runs about 1.4%–1.7% depending on the plan. The HOA is $450 per month. The model homes are beautiful, but they lack transparency. There were no signs showing what features were upgrades versus standard.
