Deer Run Apartments

Common areas are not cleaned regularly, only by request. Laundry rooms are always filthy with black floors. Evidently a bird got trapped in the shared laundry room and nobody even bothered to try to clean up all the bird poop scattered across the floor & machine so i stepped right in it! Bugs & trash in light fixtures & entryways due to no cleaning. For what we pay in rent this is absurd!

I am a new tenant and found it important to write a review after seeing all the negative ones prior to our move in and preparing for the worst— even though we had no other option. The rental process was super simple and affordable- especially for low income individuals that want to be in a nice area (Twinsburg) When we moved in, the apartment was spectacular: Thoroughly cleaned, fresh carpet and paint, with only two (minor) maintenance claims we were told would be dealt with the next day (it was Sunday.) All reviews stated maintenance issues and lack of repairs/urgency so I wasn’t expecting these to be resolved in a timely manner if at all. This place is a disaster!! Lived here for many years and only gotten much worse since huge management co from Chicago took over. The maintenance workers don’t know what there doing. The common area in the buildings are filthy . There is no tennis court or swimming pool and I wouldn’t step foot in the public laundry rooms or exercise area due to dirt and filth!! We have had a 20 year old air conditioner they will not replace and the toilets constantly run. We have had shootings and drug deals and dangerous situations. Do not move here for your own safety

The apartment is affordable, clean, quiet, and has tons of parking. The folks leasing office have always been helpful and kind. They have a few different options for paying rent which makes it more accessible. The only downside (for me) is that maintenance is non responsive. We put in a few work orders for a leaking faucet that never got repaired and the water started leaking under the sink. It’s a big place so they’re probably busy. It would be nice if they renovated the tennis court or added a kids playground for the families.

This place was terrible!!!!!!!! My grandmother stayed here and her experience was so bad we had to get her out as soon as we could. The maintenance was terrible, she had problems with bugs that they promised to take care of. We had issues with some stains on the carpet from previous tenants. They promised to have those stains removed before she moved in. Unfortunately we were in a rush to get her moved and the stains were not cleaned by her move in date. They promised to come back and do it and it was NEVER taken care of smh. Now that she’s out they’re charging her for that.
