Deer Creek Apartments

It's an okay place. Been here for 5 months not really any issues other than with maintenance. We've filed 2 request for them to fix the holes in our bathroom ceiling that were here when we moved in and it has yet to get fixed, been months now, Also asked to get the outlets replaced because they are all very loose or not working and nothing with that as well. So if you need stuff done it's probably just best to do it yourself.

I love it here. The apartments are in great shape for the price they are asking. Kelly is very nice. The maintenance works are good workers and are polite and friendly. Neighbors are fine; some are good some are not so great. That is about the same anywhere though! I would recommend it here.

Cons: Lack of amenities i.e. community WiFi, gym, pool, pet area/waste stations, etc. Parking area overrun with potholes and litter. Buildings desperately require repair and maintenance (flooding in public laundry building, insecure and/or exposed exterior cables and wiring, poor insulation, clogged/missing gutters and downspouts, fallen siding, foundation deterioration, broken/missing window and screens, insecure stairwells and doors, damaged flooring, poorly installed/outdated appliances, submerged/uneven sidewalks, etc.) Frequent occurrences of excessively loud music and/or vehicles and altercations between tenants in parking area. Several long-term abandoned vehicles in parking area. Excessive debris, broken glass, loose garbage in parking lot and surrounding lawns. Frequent occurrence

A few friends live here. Apartments are very nice, area of town cleaned up very well, but maintenance take forever to get to fixing anything.

Bad neighborhood lots of shootings and crime.. police sub station in the apartment complex... public housing...near Walmart and dornwood park. On a bus line
