Decatur Place Apartments

My kids and I moved in September of 2025. I can't say enough about this place. From day 1 I felt safe. I felt like the entire team cared about my family. Being a single mom that is very important to me! If I ever have an issue I can call them and they take care of it! If I have a maintenance issue I can make a report and they get it done. Jake is a great worker! He is good at his job. He takes care of the issue. He is very nice and professional. I would highly recommend living here!

I really enjoy living here. It’s a peaceful place to stay, and the neighborhood is always nice and well kept. Everything is clean, quiet, and the neighbors are respectful, which makes it a comfortable environment. It’s a great place if you’re looking for somewhere calm and pleasant to live. The maintenance man, Jake, always does a great job getting situations under control in a timely manner. He’s reliable and makes sure things are taken care of quickly, which really adds to the positive experience of living here.

I can’t say enough great things about our apartment maintenance manager Brian! From day one, he has been professional, responsive, and incredibly reliable. Any time I’ve submitted a maintenance request—whether it was something minor or more urgent—it was handled quickly and efficiently. What truly stands out is their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time. Brian and his crew takes time to explain what the issue was, what was done to fix it, and makes sure everything is working perfectly before leaving. It’s clear Brian and his crew genuinely care about the residents and the overall upkeep of our Decatur Place community. The ladies are very kind and understanding. They understand the hardships that life throw at you and are willing to help you as long as you can help yourself. These ladies are great. They keep the apartments up to code and keeps the property very clean. I love it here. I would recommend this place to first time renters and everyone else!! Awful!!! The rent is too high for what is offered! Buildings are falling apart. Trash all around the outside of the dumpster and it STINKS!! But they will charge you a fee if you have a trash bag on your porch (pending to throw it in the overflowing dumpster) Mold in the walls, bugs, water damage, no fresh paint or carpet! Cabinets hanging off hinges, leaking ceilings and walls. There are constantly people shooting, fighting, yelling and getting arrested. I’ve been here 5 years and since new management has taken over it’s been HELL the past 10 months!! Management is very rude and talks down to tenants who are experiencing hardships! The woman at the leasing office spoke to me worse than my own mother! Very disrespectful and unprofessional! They would rather you starve your child just to pa
