Dafna Village Apartments

This is my first living here, and I’ll admit, I was hesitant at first. Reading some of the older reviews made me nervous, especially as a single mom looking for a safe place for my child and me. But after living here for a full year, I’m honestly so glad I made the move. The apartments are well-maintained, clean, and feel very safe. Anytime I’ve needed maintenance, they’ve responded quickly and gone above and beyondtruly top-notch service in my experience. It’s also been surprisingly quiet; maybe I just got lucky with my neighbors, but the community feels peaceful. A big shoutout to Juan, Debra and Norma in the office they really keep things running smoothly and are always helpful. Overall, I’ve had a great experience and would absolutely recommend living here.

Take these reviews seriously, and stay far away. We had so many problems here, it's hard to list them all. Their are cockroaches everywhere, gates are never closed, we had our car broken in to twice, gardeners rarely show up, and they wont fix anything. Management is basically non-existent, and never responded to any calls, text messages or emails. Even when we had our car broken in to, I had to knock on the manager's door just to finally talk to him about it. Like a few other people have pointed out, new management came in recently and pushed all the older tenants out. They actually found a mattress in the dumpster and tried pinning it on us, saying we owed them money for dumping this mattress, even though they had no actual proof that this mattress came from us. Would give them a zero if I could. We were EXEMPLARY tenants and we cleaned the apartment before we moved out. Expected a walk-thru but the manager was suddenly unavailable. We expected a full refund of our deposit, however, when we finally received mail from them, they not only kept our entire deposit, they charged us for cleaning the apt, AND had the audacity to charge us an additional $75!!! We thought we had a good relationship with the manager, Elvia, but she turned on us so quick! We had mold in the garage where the water heater was and had to insist that they take care of it! All they did was throw paint over it, and if we hadn't been in the remediation business, we would not have known better. We had to keep bugging them to properly take care of the mold, but at the end of the day

Stay away from this overpriced place. "Gated community" gates are always open so a lot of car break-ins, stolen property, and delivered packages keep disappearing. Nobody ever answers maintenance calls. Cockroaches everywhere. Best for last! The property manager doesn't care about any of those things! That's why there's a least 3 move outs a week.

DO NOT DO IT. This complex will try to sell you on their recently renovated apartments. Do the apartments look OK on the inside? The answer is yes, unfortunately that can't disguise the look on the outside. Drive through, you will see what I mean. Although the outside is a deterrent, what I really must warn you about is the very poor management as others on here have stated. You will be dealing with a women by the name of Ruth. To say that she is frustrating would be putting it mildly. In her defense she is elderly and does not seem to understand renting in the 21st century. I had very simple questions that she was unable to answer. For example, prior to submitting an application I wanted to know if the complex would accept my large dog.
