They have been managing property for me for over thirty years. They are careful with my money and have excellent talent on hand to take care of any problems. They treat the tenants well and take care of any problems quickly. They have good incoming inspection reports so there no disputes when it is time for an outgoing inspection. They vet tenants carefully so we rarely have to deal with deadbeat, unreasonable or destructive tenants. I know that some of their landlords try to stop them from spending any money for legitimate requests but they dump unreasonable landlords.

They have been great property management company. I’ve lived in unit for 2.5 years.

If I could do zero starts I would. All custom house cares about is money. We have told them about several problems that pose as a safety hazard to our children that they refused to do anything about.. The front desk worker Liz is extremely unprofessional and downright rude. Going as far as mocking and laughing at me when I try to express concern about my childs safety in our dangerous yard that they refuse to repair. She stated I should just “take my kids to the park if I was concerned”. If you can avoid this property management company I would at all costs.

Custom House Realty is a great company to work with! I have been working with them for 2 years now. All of the staff and employees are very professional and very respectful. Any time there is an issue or concern with the rental, they are on top of it and will fix any issues right away! I highly recommend this company for your next rental in the Monterey area! They are truly one of the best property management companies around!
