This place cannot stay organized for the life of them. I noticed some dust on the vents when we moved in and figured that was normal but once I inspected the AC vent, I noticed it was disgusting. Make sure you check the AC vents if you're moving in, especially if you have a dust allergy like me. It takes four hours to clean them and no one can be home and I was scheduled to have a maintenance today. Low and behold, they never showed up even though I sent a confirmation email to the leasing office at 10 AM which gave them 2 hours to call them to make sure they were coming. I cannot believe how incompetent they are. I was even told there would be a $30 fee if I canceled. My rent should be deducted $30 from the inconvenience of having to do this again and taking time off of work as well as th

Living at Cortland Mirror Lake is a health and safety hazard. My family and I (including my infant son) were lucky we got out of here unharmed. Staff, specifically Andrea and Carla, if they even still work here, were the most incompetent group of people I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. They were completely uncaring and unprofessional about unsafe and unhealthy living conditions. The only way to get anything through to them was to cc their boss on any emails or contact corporate directly. Trash was piled up everywhere, pests, including mosquitoes and cockroaches were out of control, dog poop everywhere, and property management would drag their feet any time there was an issue. Do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction of this place.

I recently had the pleasure of renting an apartment with Cortland Mirror Lake, and I couldn't be more impressed. After 15 years of not renting, I was a bit apprehensive, but the team made the process seamless and stress-free. Carlos, Anthony, and Manny were exceptional - they went above and beyond to make my move-in experience truly special. I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with Cortland, and I hope it's as smooth and pleasant as my move-in experience.

Lived here for 6 months — problems started from day one: HVAC system disconnected, water heater off (cold water in January), and within a week the AC broke and had to be replaced. But the biggest ongoing issue was trash: Every weekend — piles of garbage outside the compactor, strong odor, flies, and animals tearing open bags. Often access to the compactor was completely blocked. Despite my official written complaint with photos, management claimed they were “doing everything possible” — but in reality, nothing changed. End of July: compactor stopped working for over a week, trash piled up even on weekdays. I have had the pleasure of living in Cortland mirror lake for 5 years. The front office has always been attentive and professional. They always address any concerns you have right away. Specifically Tiana Jones, she goes above and beyond to get you an answer. Maintenance is always prompt with their arrival after you put in a work order. They’re always respectful of your home. If you are looking or considering this to be your next home I would highly recommend Cortland mirror lake.
