Corner Ridge Apartments

Quiet area, friendly neighbors, maintenance is quick to respond, clean, close to most things, and well maintained complex. Not much to complain about if at all. The only cons I'd say are the no pet policy, the flimsy grates in the closet that can barely hold more than 25 lbs, no workout area, or outdoor amenities. Even with that being said the newly renovated apartment is nice.

Lived here for four years and it was a great experience. Quiet, nice neighbors, and pretty secluded considering the location. Management is INCREDIBLE! When our lease ended we were still a few days away from closing on our house and moving, Cornerridge let us stay a few extra days over our lease date so we weren’t homeless for a week. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a quiet place to call home in Kentwood!

I loved living here. I stayed here for a year while I was a local reporter in GR. I was scrambling to find an apartment and found this nice, quiet and cozy place. I had an apartment facing the tree line which was pretty. Management was great and anytime I needed something as it related to maintenance the response was same day.

Apartment manager harasses me when I go to visit boyfriend. Posts passive aggressive messages about how residents can only have visitors over 2 times a month?? People can not stop over with a pet, to be exact a 3lb toy poodle (smaller than cats that are allowed) without harassment. Makes you register every visitors car with her or threatens to tow. Will follow you and scream through the window instead of having a civil face to face conversation. Dings on brand new vehicle from other residents in car port. We can watch drug deals from the wide open parking lot in front of building. Very obvious they are drug deals. Rent is higher than other apartments in area, and these apartments have better amenities. You can also watch bums dumpster dive in the trash on the regular. Car was broken into,

Nice enough place. The Pros: Cheap (510/mo for 1BR), mostly quiet neighbors, A/C, nice big bedroom and bathroom, convenient location that's fairly close to cascade, kentwood, wyoming, caledonia, and only a few minutes from I-96 and M6. The Cons: tiny kitchen, smallish living room, lack of dishwasher, you pay the bills (besides trash pickup and water), laundry on-site but not in-apartment. Trains run nearby several times daily and nightly and are quite loud, so be a sound sleeper or wear earplugs. Overall a decent place if you work nearby. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it to friends though. They allow cats, which explains the slight odor in my unit.
