Copper Gate

The apartment was spacious. The main thing I hated was the fact that it was often loud and come to find out, there is a lot of drug dealing that happens there. When I first moved it, it seemed nice, but as time went on, more and more stuff started happening. The ventilation system isn’t very good because every time someone smoked weed or cigarettes in their apartment. I could smell it through my vents. When I reported it to the apartment manager who worked there at the time, said manager did not do anything about it and come to find out that this manager knew that there was drug dealing happening. Thankfully this manager is no longer there. When new management came in, the complex was “cleaned up”. But the grounds were always clean and kept nice.

New management has recently taken over, and unfortunately, things haven’t improved. The regional manager who oversees this property was the same person answering emergency maintenance calls — and during one of those calls, she became argumentative, raised her voice at me, and continued calling my phone multiple times after I asked her to stop. When I finally raised my voice back (without using profanity or saying anything inappropriate), I was issued a lease violation simply for defending myself. I’ve lived at this property for roughly 10 years and have never once received a lease violation until now. My rent has always been paid on time, and even the maintenance staff often compliment my apartment for being one of the cleanest in the community. I’ve always taken pride in being a respectf

Have lived here at Coppergate for 12 plus years. In this time have seen maintenance change like a revolving door, and management go through changes as well. For the longest period of our time here, management was rarely on site. There have been instances when management seemed more attentive to resident's concerns, but for the most part they have been invisible. We have lived in the same apartment for the entire time and tenants here are pretty friendly with one another. My neighbors are terrific, with one exception . I have called the management office on several occasions and am still waiting for a return call concerning noise that comes from behind my bedroom wall until late night or early morning. looking for an apartment? this isn't it. Trust me. any apartment next to it is likely perfect and roughly in the same price range if it's not managed by the same company. this has nothing to do with the quality of the apartment itself or any ameneties. Why should you avoid this place? They do not care. But wait, i get it, you as the reader (like me) might think you're not going to need the benefit of the doubt - until you do. And you won't find it at Coppergate Apartments. You are not a priority. You cannot trust them (or whoever you end up talking to) for any payments that aren't made online, so welcome to the 80's. Furthermore let's say you pay your first prorated rent through a money order (which you'll have to, to get your keys). And then let's say the money order is mismanaged

I have been living at Coppergate for a couple of years. Our manager Rebecca and our maintenance men, Josh and Lucas are truly wonderful and caring. They listen to all of our concerns and try to repair anything broken as soon as possible. As with anywhere you live, there are people who do not take care of their surroundings or others.
