Here's my story with Converse Management, The beginning of November my mother contacted the company about the kitchen stove 2 burners on the left side sparked and disfunction, and smoke alarm constantly goes off so my mother contacted the company, then by another week in they contact my mother about appointment maintenance request and they'll get back with her soon. Another week later they called my mother about maintenance guy coming out on Tuesday at 11am. Well he finally showed up his name is also my first name, fixed the 2 burners on the left side and battery replaced on the smoke alarm by my bedroom. I wouldn't give them any stars if I could. My parents had the misfortune of renting from converse management. I can not tell everyone if at all possible AVOID this company at all costs!!! After 2 months of being in their rental home, my mom discovered a leak in the bathroom. Kathy one of the owners came over and basically accused my mom of pouring bleach down the drain. Mind you mom is allergic to bleach and it gives her headaches, but this smell was coming from under the bathroom sink, fast forward 8 months. Mom and dad have moved out at the end of their lease and the plumber to fix the leak has yet to show up. There was an instance that a sink hole developed behind my dads truck. My boyfriend tried to put in an application for a place that he can very much afford. We called a couple times to check his application to see if it was approved. They said they would check and call us back (twice) and never did. They try to brush you off so they don't have to do anything. They're really just pulling your chain and wasting your time. We showed up for an appointment we made just for them to claim we never made an appointment. Wasted gas, money, and time. Too bad because some of the places seem very nice. You'd think they would want the money of renting them out, especially the 1K rent ones. Too bad, we'll be going elsewhere.

There have been things out of the company's control where there is a water main break and my water has been shut off at my house for 3 days. I called the office and they said they would keep me posted. Well when I spoke with my property manager Cathy she was very unprofessional, when I asked for help and brought a few things to her attention that I wanted to discuss. I had stated there should be better communication between the tenants and the property manager. Instead of her bringing light to my situation she said "If you aren't happy with our services then you can put your 30 day notice in and find somewhere else to live." Very rudely answered me back and without the conversation even being finished she hung up on me.

While I agree with the positive comments in regards to the prompt call backs regarding a property of interest and politeness when dealing with us, I have to disagree with the comments that say that these people at this management company are professional. We came about a property listed on Craigslist and wanted to view the home and they contacted us right away to show us the home. We asked for time to consider as we had other possibilities at the time and they gave us plenty of time and did not harass us about whether we were interested or not. When I called back to say that I was interested and had some questions before submitting the application I had to call 5 times before someone called me back.
