Briargate Apartments

This apartment community is an oasis centered in the heart of Portage! It is the epitome of good property management, spearheaded by the management professional Heather. I have rented from almost every other complex in the Portage/Kalamzoo area and this is, by FAR, the most comfortable.

We really enjoyed our time at Briargate in the efficiency apartment. It was a great size for us and the deck was an added bonus! Justin was very accommodating and willing to help us with any problems that we had. Nice location close to all different shops and restaurants. The neighbors were very kind and quiet. Definitely recommend!

My fiance' and I needed a place to live for a few months until our house was being built. We were so happy to find that Briargate Apartments offered that opportunity. The apartment manager, Justin, was very helpful in setting us up with a nice apartment to live in. We always felt safe since the front door to the building is locked and you have to allow guests to enter the building. It was a very convenient location in that it is in the middle of all things Westnege Avenue has to offer. This was a great stepping stone in our time of need and I would recommend Briargate Apartments to anyone that is needing either a short term, or a longer term place to live.

Justin was great in assisting me with getting me my keys and helping set me up to move in even when the leasing office was closed. Update: have lived here for one year and here are my thoughts. Fantastic management, quick to respond and answer any questions, maintenance is quick and easy as well. Property is well maintained and have had no cleanliness issues from what I've seen. Very quiet neighbors whom I've had absolutely zero issues with. Parking is easy, have never had issues finding a spot. And the location is phenomenal as well being so close to everything on Westnedge. Shoutout to Justin for all the assistance he's provided over the year. Overall still a 5/5.

Justin is an amazing manager! Anytime we’ve had an issue come up with something, I’ve called and had maintenance out the same day. All of our questions and concerns have been taken care of in a timely manner. The space is amazing for what we pay and we even have a walk in closet! We’re so close to everything, including work. I love living here and having the neighbors that I do!
