The folks are JL Scott we’re so incredibly helpful and quick when went through the application process for a rental. Kristy got me into my apartment with ease and was very approachable when any needs or questions arose. She and Tanya both are always very proactive with issues or maintenance needs. Great company to work with and rent through.

So I found myself homeless after a bad break up. My credit was not the best so I had to find a co-signer. Kristy from John L Scott was the Realtor that I got in touch with. We found a place pretty fast and I was excited. A few days later found out I could not move in because section 8 would not pay the amount. I was crushed and all but gave up but Kristy was determined to help me and my child out. It took close to three months but she came through like a angel from heaven. She went far and beyond what she had to do and I am forever grateful to her and the entire Hood River staff. 5 star service.

This is one of the most irresponsible and ill-managed organizations I have had the displeasure of working with. JLS managed my property in The Dalles for approximately four years. In that time they hired contractors at my request to perform work on my property and took the role of providing contractor oversight. All of the work that was done was unacceptable and my property was left in a condition that was worse than before the work was done. I was not notified of this until I was contacted via mail by my tenants. The tenants were not being represented by JLS either and were being denied answers to questions they had about the condition of the home. I switched management agencies at that point and JLS proceeded to keep money from me without being able to show that it was owed. I spent over

To Whom It May Concern, I have concerns about expenses that I paid while living in the Lyle Apartments. 1) I paid $110 to get the refrigerator turned on the second or third day I lived in this apartment. This is not my responsibility and I should not have been charged. I assumed the refrigerator was broken and needed to be fixed because at the walk through it was fine. If I knew I would be charged, I would have found a way to fix it as I was making about $23,000 at that time and had no room to spare. 2) I was charged for half of a mold inspection that did find the living conditions in that apartment are comparable to living in a basement. In addition, the mold in the apartment is not ‘black mold’ but everyone is allergic to that mold (this information can be found in the repo
