Colonial Apartments

I have to update my review. I really like that you can drive right to your front door and they're 1 story but my apartment had black mold in it that made us all sick. I told management after just 2 weeks of living there and they told me that it was mildew and had been sitting a long time. To buy mold killer which I did. I had to clean the miod every week and no matter what I did it seemed to spread. Bleach does not kill it! My elderly neighbor had rats in her apt and it took them months to call an exterminator and they left rat feces under her stove. (She couldn't get down on floor to clean it) they refused to clean it up. She had at least 3 rats in her apt. Super gross. They don't change rat boxes out or put new stuff in them. They have about 7 feral cats living under apt. My almost 80 y

I have lived here since 2003. I moved in when I learned it was 55 and older, which it wasn't. Even now, we have a younger family with 5 kids...in a 2 bdrm apt. I have stayed here all these years, because we're so Convenient to every thing; a lot of it within walking distance. I have stayed all these years in spite of issues; rats, plumbing, no kind of yard work, a rotten, falling apart fence, rent hikes of 125.00 and 170.00. My apt had been partly replaced, but the doors were peeling, cup b oards were dirty and couldn't be used until cleaned and medicine ca b inet was dirty and rusted. I had to line it with contact paper to use it. Part of mu kitchen floor is different where it had to be replaced and part of my k itchen wall is patched and unpainted. A nice quiet complex renting to a older cliential. (45 & older). Clean property with a good maintenance team. I would recommend this property to family & friends.
