Chartwell Apartments

My husband and I have been living here for 3 years and just signed another year lease. We love living here, we love our neighbors, we love the maintenance team, and we love the property manager Andy. Unfortunately, the reason why it’s just 4 stars instead of 5 is because Chartwell was just recently sold out to Rushmore Management and our rent is now being increased 400 dollars. The only reason we are staying is because of the amazing support that Andy and his team have given us. But honestly, I don’t think these apartments are worth what they’re being sold for now at least without the updates that the management team says we’re supposedly getting. It’s just sad to see such an amazing place to live now be ruined by a company who couldn’t care less about any of their current occupants.

The property manager is one of the most unprofessional and rude individuals you will ever meet. The maintenance there is lousy. A resident living there once had worms coming up from their floor and was told that “it was normal because that’s how worms migrate.” The property manager will wait until the last minute to renew your lease and is very unwelcoming to families with kids and elderly people. The property manager also does a horrible job at maintaining records of what it fixed in your apartment. Also residents have waited months just to get a refrigerator replaced. Highly recommend to stay away from this place.

I lived here about three years ago and it was fairly nice. There were some times that it wasn't the best but, I liked it overall. The set up is nice and the neighborhood was quite nice. Another upside is being so close to Tiki pool and bowling alley!

They like to kick senior citizens out during holiday seasons without any time to find a place due to their renovating..they don't even care if you have good payment history or been there for years this is how they repay my 80yr old grandmother! Seniors beware!

Everyone is really nice. It's also great living in a cul-de-sac neighborhood. I don't have to worry as much about my young son when playing outside. The rent is great too.
