Charlesbank Garden Apts

Charlesbank Garden Apartments has treated me very well during my time here. They have been very understanding, very responsive, and very flexible. Chris and Ashley have been very nice and helpful. Additionally I don’t know of another place with this much space and amazing location at the prices of the rent. Any time I have needed repairs they have completed the repairs within a day or two. I had to leave the apartment on short notice due to circumstances that are out of my control and they were very understanding and helped me figure it out. I have never met more understanding or compassionate property managers.

The price is good. And the responsiveness of management to my issues has been fast in the 3.5 years I have lived here. Usually, within a day and sometimes 2-3 days if they are busy, but that's rare. The snow removal is fast as well. I am surprised by the negative reviews. They treated me and my roommate well during our stay. The parking spaces are large so you don't have to worry about your car getting dinged. Summer pools fees are high, but I chose not to pay for it and use the facilities. It's a very quiet apartment complex too which is nice. I am lucky to have found it. I do live on the 3rd floor. The coin laundry is a little expensive at $2 bucks for washing machine and $2 bucks for drying. Update: I just moved out due to a new job. And again, it was a great experience and C

I lived here for three years. The landlords never raised the rates, they maintained the apartment as one would expect, and were good in every way a landlord could be. They would give some leeway with late rent if you forgot to turn it in (It happened occasionally for me). The plowing was done well enough. All residents had to move their cars after a storm to plow the lot after the street was plowed. The appliances would range from new to old depending on when they were last replaced. My AC could keep my apartment like a meat-locker during the summer, but a friends unit didn't work well until it was replaced (which took longer than it should have to convince them to do). This place is sooooo amazing. I arrived here in 2019 and I hve never regretted living in these apartments. Management is responsive and helpful . Chris is ALWAYS willing to assist and is concerned with any issues u raise. I have lost my keys a couple of times and the management has been very responsive even during the weekend. When the refrigerator broke down - the management quickly replaced in a day with a NEW ONE! These pple are professional- they don’t cut corners! The maintenance staff always go above and beyond in fixing problems and is especially polite. For Brandeis students looking for a place to stay —- look no further ! This is the right place trust me !

I’ve lived here for two years. Let me tell you about how a WHITE MAN broke into my apartment. This white man also lives below me, and is a MAINTENANCE MAN for the complex!! Called the police, they did nothing. Management did nothing about it, I still don’t feel safe living here, and am looking to move now. Management isn’t supposed to hire tenants as employees and yet they did!!! They don’t care about the safety of their tenants. Maintenance here abuses their power, they don’t care if workers violate your lease. So many conflicts of interest with management and on top of that, the RACISM I have experienced as a minority is horrifying. If you’re old and white, sure, send in an application.
