I sent multiple emails with pictures to certified properties requesting the porch be fixed. The whole porch was rotten with broken boards. They never fixed it never looked at it and pretended like they never received an email from me. Over a year after telling them about the porch I moved out without any work being done on the porch. I have been waiting 2 months for my security deposit and still not getting any response from email. This company is extremely unprofessional and I would avoid renting through them at all costs.

My boyfriend and I had a scheduled tour of a house through this company. We received a cancellation text from them TWENTY MINUTES before the showing. We were already on our way. I’d expect more notice and a lot more professionalism.

A renter in our apartment building smokes in his bathroom and it goes right into my 9 year old bedroom. I complained and they texted me back saying not to complain unless I have a picture of him smoking. Does that mean I should go into his bathroom and take a photo? Very poor agency.

THE worst that I have ever seen. Never answer email. Ask the same thing mutiple times. Never give useful instructions, both move-in and move-out. I didn't get my security deposit 4 weeks after moving out. They do not give any response at all. VERY VERY rude staff, they seem have no brains. They should get a 0 star.

The apartment itself was alright, but one time I got my parents to write a check on my behalf for rent and send it in saying it was for my account. The check was cashed, but Certified Properties reached out to me saying I did not pay my rent. I explained to them what I did, and they agreed over the phone that it was alright. Then a year after I moved out I realized I never received my security deposit (I know I should have followed up right away, but I was not on top of everything). When I contacted them, they said they would check their records, but never followed up. I waited a month and followed up again, same story.
