Carrington Townhomes

As a former tenant, I considered moving back to the Carrington because of the great living experience i previously had when Judy was there. I called at the begging of July inquiring if there were any units available. I was advised by Monica that there was one renovated unit that would be available soon and to go ahead and apply, which I did. I didn’t receive any notice by email or that I was approved, so I went to the office. Monica then told me I was approved and the unit “should” be ready on July 25, but we would be able to mov in definitely before the 1st of August. I had not received a confirmation of move in, so I visited the office again because August 1 was approaching. The managers are never in the office. I’ve been calling since 10am about a tour and no one ever picks up the phone . This is so frustrating. I can imagine if I move in and have an emergency work order . Well this property is SCRATCHED OVER THE LIST!!

For the past four years, I have dealt with recurring leaks in my apartment. These have led to mold in my ceiling due to water damage an unacceptable health and safety hazard. I have repeatedly called the front office for assistance, often with no response or follow-up. Prior to the end of my current lease, I made a request to transfer to another unit. I was told that the regional director would be contacted to see if the transfer fee could be waived. Instead of following up with me as promised, the available units were given away. I was then told I had not reached out, which is completely inaccurate. I made multiple phone calls and even visited the office in person seeking resolution. I now asked to move in another apartment and just because it is newly built I have to pay $1300 rent plus

When I first moved here I kinda liked it. Judy was always helpful. Every time I submit a maintenance req the issue is never resolved. My child’s dad repairs everything for me. Apartments are overpriced. Definitely not worth $1015. The water in my 1/2 bath has never gotten hot since I moved here. The cockroaches are disrespectful. I’ve requested to speak with corporate multiple times. No one ever answers the number I was given. Honestly, I can’t wait until my lease is up in Feb. The office staff are very rude. One of the maintenance men broke my broom, promised to buy me another one, but brought me a broom from an empty apartment. Filters are not consistently being replenished.
