I have lived in the Carlton Apartments community in Ewing for almost 38 years now, & I would like to say that it is a pleasant, "family-like" envirnment, where neighbors seem to really care about each other. The expansive grounds are nicely maintained, & give you a relaxing feeling, not like the 3 & 4 story "bee-hive" type dwellings being built everywhere today. The apartments are very spacious, with large rooms & updated kitchens & baths. Our manager, Randy, is so pleasant & helpful, & always ready to assist with anything you need. And our maintainance team, Jimmy, Armando, & Tony are "top-notch" in handling any situation that may arise. I enjoy living in Carlton, & would like to say " thanks so much" for all you do & for making my home such a nice place to live. Geraldine Adams

My family has been living at Carlton Apartments since March 2020. The outdoor amenities, such as the large pool area and dog park are very good. The apartments were built in the 70s. For that reason, the rooms are quite a bit larger than in newer complexes. In my experience, the management company and the maintenance staff are very responsive. Property Managers Randee and Ari are courteous and helpful . Maintenance staff Jim, Antonio, and their colleagues respond in a very timely manner. Their experience allows them, in most cases, to fix the issue the same day. The resident app lets folks put in maintenance requests online, pay your rent, send non-urgent messages to the property management staff. All in all, Carlton is a very good place to live!

I want to express my sincere appreciation for Randee’s exceptional support throughout my apartment application process. She went above and beyond to make everything smooth, clear, and completely hassle‑free—even while she wasn’t feeling well. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made a stressful process incredibly easy for me and my family. It’s rare to find someone who remains so committed and attentive under any circumstances, and Randee truly exceeded every expectation. I’m grateful for her patience, her quick responses, and her willingness to ensure everything was completed correctly and on time. Thank you, Randee, for your outstanding service and for showing such remarkable dedication. You made a huge difference, and I deeply appreciate it.

I lived here for two years. While the first year was manageable, the overall quality of the property has significantly declined, despite rent increasing each year. The units are outdated and not renovated. The walls are extremely thin; you can hear every door open and close in the building, and I could clearly hear my neighbors’ phone conversations through the walls. Privacy is virtually nonexistent. The laundry room is unreliable. Machines are frequently out of order, and since laundry is paid out-of-pocket (unless you have in-unit), it’s frustrating to pay for something that may or may not be functioning. For the past eight months, there has been a persistent roach problem. Despite multiple exterminator visits, the issue has not been resolved. This alone made living here incredibly un

We’ve lived at Carlton for over 15 years and never really needed to call the office for maintenance that much. Recently, the kitchen sink’s U-trap has been leaking and the toilet started with a hissing sound. Yesterday, I called the office and within 2 hours, maintenance personnel, Antonio C showed up. He was courteous, and very knowledgeable about the maintenance he faced. In a short amount of time, the problems were fixed. It was a pleasant experience. Thank you Cartlon Apartments.
