★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Disgusting – Mice Infestation and Zero Action! I am beyond disgusted and disappointed with this apartment complex. I’ve been dealing with a severe mice infestation, and management has done little to nothing to fix it. I have video proof of mice running around my unit, getting into food, and leaving droppings everywhere. It’s completely unsanitary and unsafe to live like this. No one should have to pay rent to live in these conditions. Despite multiple complaints, they keep making excuses and dragging their feet instead of addressing the issue properly. Maintenance “patches” the problem but never eliminates it, and the mice just keep coming back. This situation is absolutely unacceptable. If you’re thinking about moving here—don’t. Since April 2022 until now Dec 2024, these have been my observations in a unit in one of the MAKOR apartments. I do wish I knew a few more details before I decided to sign a lease at this property nonetheless hope this helps someone in their decision making. A home should be a place where you feel comfortable & so it’s important to know as much information about a property before choosing it as a home. Do not move here. Please read the reviews before deciding to move here or not. Everything that everyone has written here is true. I wish we would've read the reviews before signing a lease here. Where to begin.... my wife and I moved here with our baby girl who was 9 months old at the time. The first thing we noticed was that they shut off the water without notice. In the first month we were here, they shut off the water at least three times. After the 3rd time we complained and told them we would file a complaint with the housing department of NJ because they don't give notice to their tenants who pay their rent on time. this is a mafia I lived there for 2 years and I had ants (insect) in my apartment but they never treat them they say its too expensive to treat the ants. so after I moved out they took all my deposit saying that we need to remodel the apartment. my best advise to any any one who is going to put his feet in the mag is to take the pictures before you moving in and after you move out. otherwise you will have to go to the court to get your deposit back.

I don't recommend this place to anyone who is looking for rent due to the following reasons: 1- you will deal with none professional people. 2- if you live there, you will deal with the floor problem as you can hear anyone walking up or down or even talking. 3- you will be dealing with the most horrible roaches and ants, and when the exterminator shows up he keeps saying that I can't do a strong treatment as I was pregnant and imagine he told that some apartment had the ant's problem for a long time and he can't do nothing. 4- they took my deposit for no reasons as they said you should leave the apartment brand new and must be no signs of use in the apartment like no tenant was leaving there.
