Brookland and 4 West

My move in experience has been excellent from start to finish. The entire process was smooth and well-organized, which really helped take the stress out of moving. A special thank you to Haley she went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. She was patient with all of my questions, quick to respond, and made sure everything was ready for me before I even arrived. Her professionalism and positive attitude made the whole experience memorable, and it showed how much she truly cares about residents. I’m grateful for the great service and excited to call this place home!

I currently live on the fourth floor of one of the buildings in the complex. The elevator has been out for two and a half weeks with no signs of getting fixed. Every morning, including weekends, construction begins at 6am with workers tossing debris into dumpsters. Half the parking lot is taken up with construction materials, and we residents have been told to park offsite to make up for the difference. It seems management is more concerned about the potential new residents than the ones who currently live on the property. I cannot wait to move. Edited to add: the “clubhouse” in the center building almost always floods after a heavy rain, this is what knocks out the elevator in the middle building. My wife and I lived here for two years while she finished her residency at USC / Prisma. We've both had to move a lot for our jobs, so we have experience with large rental buildings in cities. This was by far our worst experience. Pros: 1. The location is great, and is the main reason why we chose Brookland. 2. The on-site maintenance team was the best we have ever experienced. Friendly, professional, and any work orders we put in were completely resolved within a day or two. Cons: 1. We dealt with a roach problem in our final months of living here, which began suddenly after the mass move-in/move-out of the building at the end of the USC school year. When we notified the front office they sent their contracted pest control, but the technician was little help and spent a grand total of a

Wonderful location that's walkable to a lot of great restaurants in the area and the riverwalk. The girls in the office are also always helpful and maintenance is on top of it. I highly recommend the community to anyone looking for a residence near downtown.

We love the community of Brookland/4West! The location is perfect, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we love the welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this apartment community!
