Briarcreek Apartments

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It has nothing to do with the complex, it’s the new management that took over. Guardian has been kicking out everybody for this place! I have never seen so many empty units nor have I seen so many notices on people’s doors who have been there for ever! My mother lives there and she is an elder woman and they are taking advantage of the elderly. They try to charge late fees on top of late fees than try to say people are short on rent. I wish they never took over these complex at all because it been nothing but a headache for my mom. Prior guardian taking over these units they had people come and inspect units to see the condition they were on and now the ones that have been in great condition are the ones being kicked out! This place is terrible, they never pick up the phone, they manage to lose the checks used to pay rent, they distance themselves from the residents and if you have a disability it's even worse, they refuse to talk to us half the time, try and charge late fees and if you need something you have to go talk to them physically. They don't take things seriously and there was no actual manager for 2 or 3 months, still don't know if anyone is in charge. I would not bother moving here because if you need help you won't get it. Voicemails are not returned either. I am tired of trying to haggle with these people and I don't even live there! My poor family member has no choice but if I could I'd move them in a heartbeat. You gotta accept it for what it is: It's a great location with a tolerable home, and overworked "by the book" apartment management. I've been living here for a decade now. I don't own a car and rarely feel impaired by it, due to this great location. You are paying for the location, everything else is superficial. Short walk to the MAX (with a park and ride), slightly longer walk to a 24-hour grocery (winco), several other grocery stores nearby (target, whole foods, walmart, fred meyer), it's right next to a bicycle path that leads to PCC rock creek (eventually), and there's a few banks in walking distance too (onpoint, wells fargo, chase, hmm...I think a few others). Several hospitals within a long walk or a short bicycle ride (kaiser and providence, with others accessible via MAX). We'v

0/10 don't recommend. Love my neighbor. Other than that nothing nice to say. I've signed 1 lease in 7 years, there have been as many management changes. The worst was Anthony who must have trained the latest Erika G. Any management w/longevity is the slug they promote/transfer around to accommodate the regular gaps the other properties have. They leave early on most days, & even w/two of them they're incapable of being present regularly, answering the phones, returning emails, or voicemails. Bless maintenance's heart bc only two are over the entire complex. They're the best part of BC & should teach office staff a lesson in professionalism. Even when you want & try to have very little contact w/management they somehow make it The most irritating, difficult, & horrible experience imaginable
