I applied to a property and was put through the entire process to the point that everything checked out. I had the perfect credit score, employment history, and rental history. I received a call and was asked multiple questions. Once it was found out that I was a single mother with small children, the conversation took a turn. I was told she would have to check with the owner and see if I was a good “fit” for the property. I received a call days later saying he had went in a different direction. I feel this was discriminatory towards me as a single mother. Also, you cannot reach them by telephone and their office is never open.

I’ve had the best experience this last year renting with Blankenship homes. Every time I’ve had an issue they have came same day to diagnose and within that same day or by the next it’s resolved.

Do not waste your time and money applying to their properties. They will never call or update you in any kind of way. They will also NEVER answer the phone. If you finally do get Tina she acts like she doesn’t know anything and will lie and say she will call you back. I wish we could get our money back.

Very poor customer service.The staff is horrible. They do not care about anything but getting their money. I've had an unpleasant amount of things go wrong within my home (I've only been here a month) and they brushed us off, not sure if it's because we're young and black but they gave us their ass to kiss. I have a child in the home who could be effected by damages and Mr. Blankenship himself told me he wouldn't be in any danger without even coming out to look at my property himself. Tracy Anderson is rude and will screen your calls and never answer or return your call. They are very unprofessional. If you're looking for a home PLEASE REFRAIN FROM GOING TO BLANKENSHIP HOMES! They'll throw you into a home that's not move-in ready and expect you to be okay with that. Poor business, unaccept

No notice to vacate. Notified me half way thru month they sold property and had 4 days to be out.
