Black Oak Apartment Homes

I recently moved here after a friend told me he used to live here a couple of years ago. The apartments have been remodeled and my understanding is that the management changed. I moved almost a year ago and I really like my place. The new appliances and painting make my apartment look cute. I feel safe walking in the complex, there are always plenty of parking spots for me or my friends, and the management are constantly spraying to keep bugs away. I personally like the size of the apartments, the natural light they have, and picnic area that was built with the grills for common use

Very unprofessional Infestation and you pay monthly to have them spray but they don’t spray often and when they do spray they don’t spray the rooms or bathrooms only kitchen and living room a little. Hardly answers the phone when you need to contact them so if you can’t make it to the office you’re out of luck. Renovating the apartments to make them look good for showing but tricking tenants and not letting them know their roach infested

I used to live at Black Oak. These apartments were great. The new owners really take care of their residents. I hated to have to move, but my job transferred me. The manager and maintenance guys were awesome!

I am a current resident at the Black Oak Apartments. I made a mistake by moving into this complex. I have to kill roaches every other day; I’ve even had one crawl on my neck while I was sleeping and on my foot at my desk. I am NOT making this up; I sleep with a nightlight now to help scare them away from me at night. The neighbors are 90% Marshallese and they let their children (a couple dozen at least) constantly play loudly in the parking lots unsupervised and they even bang on my windows. The place is VERY NOISY most evenings and even well past quiet hours on weekends. There is only one maintenance person that works here and he does a poor job. For example, there are dozens of patched holes in the walls that were never sanded, patchy paint everywhere, and he stood on my upholstered di
