Belle at Bay Colony 55+ Apartments

I'm giving them 2 stars!! I lived in this apartment complex for 2 years.When I first moved in, everything was almost perfect. After six months I noticed that I had mice in the apartment. I notified management several times of the issue. They sent maintenence a couple times but the issue was never resolved. I was still dealing with mouse poop. My biggest complaint about this place is you have management that are not on the same page. The secretary says one thing, the manager says another. The day I moved out the last manager quit. They got a new one in not sure what the issue was, but it couldn't have been too good. The new manager seems a bit cocky. I think they really enjoy dealing with senior citizens, easy money!! The people that mows the grass are super rude and unprofessional. I was trying to talk to them and they totally ignored me. Not only that but they almost ran over me and my pups. This is a senior apartment complex. These people have absolutely no respect or consideration for the elderly. I think management needs to be more careful when it comes to hiring people. Specially, this being a senior community.

Surprised to see some of these reviews on this property. The staff is never in the office during their office hours. The pool has been down for over a year. The staff is not friendly and they require residents to pay for items for certain repairs. Even as a 55 and up and a fair housing location, they continue to raise rent on the elderly community but the property amenities are not always maintained.

Good folks come together here. Love is bountiful. 😊 Hot water heater happened to malfunction as all do eventually and management and maintenance replaced full system in less than 3 business days. Great service! My kinda place to dwell forever !

Tried to rent from this place and after 3 weeks they say we make 1000 too much so they wasted 3 weeks but the assistant manager has had a horrible attitude towards us the whole time so I think they already knew they weren’t going to rent to us!! Our income was right where it needed to b to make 2.5 times the rent but not over the 44 thousand for affordable housing so I think there is much more to the story !!!! After reading the reviews I’m glad we did not qualify!
