Beer Properties is one of the best, if not the best, property managers and landlords around. Amy and David are always prompt and helpful. A few weeks into our first lease, our microwave broke; one email later, David brought a new one that same day. I once left my passport over break, and David was kind enough to ship it back to me. There are several stories like these where Amy and David have been so helpful and kind. I’ve loved living here for the past two years. In Ithaca, especially Collegetown, I’ve heard so many horror stories about friends’ landlords, and I’m happy to say I’ve never dealt with any of that with Beer Properties. Lived here as a first year Grad student. The place is very convenient, easy walk to campus and Collegetown and relatively quiet neighborhood compared to other places close by. The apartment is well maintained and all amenities work as they are supposed to. The apartment is very spacious, and the Landlords are very responsive and receptive at all times. Super responsive to maintenance requests, things get fixed really quickly. They’re also great about snow removal, which makes winters much easier. Overall, very reliable and easy to deal with.

Coal Yard Apartments has been a great place to live during grad school. The apartments are very spacious, especially compared to other options around here, and for the price you really get more space and comfort than most alternatives nearby. It’s also consistently quiet, which makes it an ideal environment for graduate students and professionals.
