Greg was absolutely phenomenal to work with. He was in constant communication with us and was always professional. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Brant was also amazing, helpful and genuine. I would recommend Barr Homes to all our friends and family. Our home turned so beautiful and you can tell love and hard work was poured into it. So thankful we went with Barr!

Steer clear. Had same issues as listed here by others with trying to address building flaws. Unevenly poured foundation causing a ramp on our floor, leaking windows (14 of them!) and they now refuse to identify the source of water getting in behind our siding causing this issue. They installed warped floor joists causing uneven spots and a joist spontaneously ruptured in the middle of the night! expected smaller issues like broken vents, broken knobs, unsealed seams, a fire starting in our vents from sawdust…Their tiling contractors gouged our shower floor, cracked our tub by placing their equipment in it, and we now have to repair that on our dime. Much was miscommunicated during the building process. Our house wasn’t built to the blueprint we purchased. Painters were sloppy but thankful

We just completed building with Barr, and had a great experience! The team was responsive, great with details, and helped bring my vision to life. It’s clear that all contractors they work with are held to a high standard based on the quality of the paint, flooring, finishes and overall cleanliness. Would definitely build with them again!

If given the chance to build again, I would not. If given the chance to recommend them I’d say steer far away. We closed on our house January 27, 2023. With a new construction I fully expected issues to arise. I know that’ll happen with any builder. However they sell you on this one year warranty so you think you have protection. That is a LIE. At our walk through before closing, they never addressed our exterior items because our exterior wasn’t finished/needed to be painted. We called and emailed time after time to get our exterior walk thru and various items addressed throughout the past 11 months. The company they hire for the warranty is absolutely rude and worthless. Barr built our home in March 2018. They addressed everything on our check list and give us a beautiful home at a great price. We are now looking at upgrading to a new home and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again!
