Bailey Apartments

Overall a very good experience touring the apartments. The call to make an appointment, follow up, the touring, the apartments and overall a very decent experience. We toured a few studio apartments in search of an alternative for the current place I'm leasing. Alex was ready to answer any questions before we even had a chance to ask them - I loved how dedicated and detailed he is! The apartments are on the older side but none of the ones we toured showed any potential problems or signs of negligence. You can tell they are solid, well kept apartments. No mold or funky smells, which is unfortunately way too common in many apartments we toured from other agencies. Lived in 1004 for 2 years. I moved out eventually because the soundproof was horrible. Very thin walls and no privacy at all. It's a nice place if you have quiet neighbors, but it became a nightmare for me when a disrespectful couple moved in as my neighbor. They have a lot of late night 'activities' and bang the wall constantly at midnight. You can hear every words you neighbors say. They had a cat as well although it should have been prohibited. Management can be irresponsible sometimes and they never intervene such behaviors. $650 rent is way too high for all these.

The staffs and service here are amazing. Maintenance usually comes on the next day I submitted my request. Overall very satisfied with my time at Bailey. Although the furniture and appliances in my apartment looked a bit old, they work well, so that’s just a minor issue.

Lived here for 2 years. If you are in Engineering depts, best place for you. Quiet place with no pest problems. Fantastic maintenance guys. Landlord is very understanding person. Gidget, the manager is also very friendly and helpful. Dryers and Washers are okayish and Expensive. Would totally live here 10/10.

I am highly satisfied with my experience living at Bailey Apartments at 1010 W Springfield. Prices were better than most places in the area and I have no complaints with the apartment. The location is perfect for any Engineering or Computer Science student and has perfect bus access to the Union, Bookstore, and both campus gyms via the Silver Line. The maintenance crew and staff has been very friendly with me and I was especially grateful when Mr. Bailey himself drove out here in the cold of January to let me in because I had forgotten my key in Chicago! A couple things to note: the laundry does get expensive at $2/wash and $2/dry, but the machines are usually available.
