I have been a tenant of Azure Apartments and the Owner, Barry's properties since 2017. I will admit management in the past was really difficult. But since hearing of the changing of hands to the new landlady for Azure and my property, Shelby, I am absolutely elated!! She is kind, objective, and confident in her skills. She is taking over what feels to be a sinking ship. I can confidently say the reason for all the prior negative reviews were definitely due to bad management. I was even about to look for a different place with a different property management company and owner in 2024. However, at my housekeeping check this year. Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. I signed my lease 3 months before I move in and was not shown any apartment to begin with. The very first day I moved in I seen 5 or 6 ROACHES. I immediately brought this to their attention and it took over 2 weeks to get it sprayed for. The apartment had a really weird smell and I couldn’t figure it out until I opened the bathroom and inside the closet it smelled like someone let there cat use it as a litter box. My neighbors would constantly smoke/ play music at all times of the night. Do not leave your car or anything unlocked unless you want it stolen. I moved in at 6 pm at night because it is on there time when you get your keys. OH!! You also have to sign a bed bug addendum! Every single building is full of roaches, bed bugs, or animals. Had a knock on my door two months before my lease was up letting me know they were raising my rent in my 1 bedroom apartment with no laundry facility inside the apartment or any actual amenities. When I asked why, the lady that knocked at my door said “Just because we can.” Folks, they’re dishonest, they’re lazy, they don’t care about the apartments. They’re slum lords. Don’t give them a cent and let them starve.

Filled with roaches, bed bugs, loud and obnoxious people, always has the cops sworming the place like it's part of their route, nosey neighbors, filthy and overflowing dumpsters.

If I could I wouldn’t even give them one star I have lived here for 5 years never late on the rent on multiple occasions I went to flush my toilet and it flooded called the office took them 2 days to come over and when they did all they did was put a fan pointing to the problem said they would be back the next day left the fan in my apartment for 3 months then finally came over got the fan now every time I walk by the spot I feel like I am going to fall in also have had problems with mold in the bedroom window for almost 3 years have called and went down to the office and complained every day for the past 3 years for the price of rent can’t really complain but I can complain about the fact that they keep raising the rent and not making it worth the price
