Avery at Orenco Station

Eddie and Chris from the maintaince team are impressive when it comes to their line of work and the office was quick to respond to a couple of matters i've brought up since the beginning of my stay... overall very happy with my experience!!! Highly recommend these apartments to any and everybody..

Although the apartment is nice, you can find similar cookie-cutter layouts with better locations, parking, and management. The management office will not answer the phones, so if you need to ask them anything at all, you have to walk into the office to speak to them in person — which means if you also have a full-time job during business hours, you will need to take time off work to speak with them about urgent matters before the office closes. There’s no point in adding a carport to your lease and paying additional costs monthly - I have seen plenty of residents who park in the unrented carports anyway, and if you bring it to the management’s attention, they will visibly show concern (remember, you can only to talk to them IN PERSON), but nothing else will happen and you will continue to

I’ve had a great experience with Kris Lewis from the maintenance team at Avery at Orenco Station. There was a small explosion inside of our freezer and Freon smell was heavy all around the apartment. We called maintenance and Kris was very kind and quick about the situation. It was past 12am and there was no way of getting us a new fridge before our food went bad. He went out of his way to find us a vacant unit where we could temporarily store the rest of food that didn’t go bad. He also brought in some heavy duty fans to vent out all the Freon smell from the apartment.

The Avery apartments and neighborhood are very nice, with good restaurants and a metro (the 1 rating is for that). But the biggest issue here is PATTY, who is the assistant manager, and her office team. Patty and her team (KENNEDY) are not a good fit for this role, and management must pay urgent attention. Patty is always rude, unapproachable, and extremely unprofessional. She never answers the phone, and when residents ask why, she gets extremely furious and defensive, claiming she is “busy” instead of acknowledging her responsibility. It is very obvious that she deliberately avoids calls, which forces residents to waste time and walk into the office for even the smallest concerns. I really like my apartment. The apartments are really nice, large rooms, a lot of windows so It's light and bright. The people who take care of the apartment complex are all wonderful and helpful and maintenance is done quickly. The area is nice because you're close to everything, you can walk to New Seasons Market, Winco is less than a mile away. There are many restaurants right down the street. The are a lot of nature parks close by and the new community center is less than a mile away. The apartments are close to a neighborhood of family homes and I feel safe going for walks. The Max and bus stops are so close some people don't even own a car. There are so many good things about Avery and the neighborhood it's impossible to name them all.
