I lived at Avel Apartment Homes for two years, and it was genuinely one of the best living experiences I’ve had. The location is incredibly convenient there are so many great restaurants and shops nearby, and pretty much anything I ever needed was 10 minutes away or less. It made everyday life so easy and stress‑free. Parking was never an issue, which is something I really appreciated, especially compared to other apartment communities in the area. One of my favorite things about living at Avel was the community vibe. There were always fun and free events happening everything from pool parties to food truck nights to wellness activities. My year anniversary of living at Avel is coming up, and now I feel confident in giving a review of it. The leasing office was very helpful for my move in process. They are very responsive by phone, email, and in person. We get emails notifying us for any upcoming office closures for holidays. The office puts on events for the residents and also emails us for food trucks that will be on site as well as pop up restaurants on the rooftop. Maintenance responds quickly to any request I’ve had to put in and is very friendly when I run into them. The location was perfect for me this year with having a baby and having access to my doctor and St Joseph a couple blocks away. For the past year life and living has been amazing at the Avel Apartments. Plenty of amenities, friendly staff and fun neighbors make the experience enjoyable. Location is one key factor that contributed to our decision to live at this location and our unit is in a perfect area that allows sun and ease of access to a courtyard. Visitors love visiting us for the perks, such as the swimming pool amd BBQ area, which also has a TV to enjoy. Our spacious unit is perfect for our living situation and for us to work from home when needed. We truly call this community a place to live comfortably and happily!

Avel offers modern, well-kept units with updated finishes like stainless-steel appliances, in-unit laundry, and stylish flooring. The community has great amenities—including a rooftop lounge, saltwater pool, spa, and fitness center—and the grounds are generally clean and well maintained. Staff and maintenance are responsive, and the location is convenient for commuting and accessing nearby shops and restaurants. Overall, it’s a comfortable and welcoming place to live, although they could benefit from more accessible and affordable events for tenants.

Avel has the friendliest staff, very clean and super responsive maintenance team, and convenient location about 20 minutes from anywhere in OC! Been living here for coming up on 4 years. Community is a good mix of young professionals, couples and families with kids
