The new property management team of Patti Scalici and Jen Jaramillo, are doing an excellent job of responding to requests. Recently Patti issued a very detailed email to all residents regarding snow removal. I also want to give a shout out to Beth Zimmerman, who is alway friendly in responding to residents at the front window.

I recently moved to Shadow Lake Village and have been consistently impressed with Association Advisors. Patricia, Jenitza and the office staff are extremely responsive , efficient and helpful. I have interacted mostly with Jenitza and she is wonderful! Kudos to AA!

My wife and I are new members of the Shadow Lake Village community. We have had the pleasure of working with the current property management team of Patricia Scalici & Jenitza Jaramillo on multiple occasions, as we acclimate ourselves within SLV. The newly appointed management team has been Outstanding. They respond in a Timely manner, and they follow up on all Work Orders or clarification requests. Better Yet, this team also tells you when they cannot complete a Requested Action and Why, Bringing closure to all open issues or Work Orders. We also should not forget the newest member of the Team, Beth Zimmerman, the front office face of the organization and administrative assistant, who greets everyone with a warm smile, while asking How can I Help You Today? This is concerning The Thread in Union City. Do yourself a favor stay away from this management company. Carlos has been a great property manager, friendly and helpful. But AANJ and the current board mismanaged the property reserve and do not want to address the rising HOA costs and the current Lack of Financial Transparency. Where did all of our Collective Money go?! After multiple attempts to request substantiation and clarification of the issues, no real evidence was provided. Currently, we have a group of more than half of homeowners came together and started to recall the current board members of The Thread. The recall process is ongoing. I had a very disappointing experience with this building management company. Communication is extremely poor — emails and calls often go unanswered, and when responses do come, they are vague or delayed to the point of useless. Transparency is also a major problem. Fees increase with little explanation, documentation is unclear, and management is quick to deflect responsibility rather than take ownership of issues affecting residents. Overall, the company appears disorganized, reactive instead of proactive, and not resident-focused. I would not recommend this management company to anyone looking for reliable, professional building management.
