Aspen River Park Apartments

My family was one of the original families that lived here when it was rehabbed in the late 70's. It's amazing that these buildings are still standing. I lived here as a child when it was owned by Prudential. They had all of our families move to the Central Ward while it was rehabbed. And upon completion of the rehab we moved into 4 Lexington on the second floor. The kids knew me as "Maze 2000"...great memories...

My father has been living there for years & it’s dirty the hallways the floors the elevator such a large building & they only have 2 washers & 2 dryers. My dad’s apartment need some repairs.

Ii got a referral from an agency that’s willing to pay first month rent and security and a additional 3 months for me and my family but so far it’s always something back ground came back great no evictions criminal background clean now it’s something in regards to child support which I look up through hud should hold no bearing but I supplied the documents showing that it’s being payed down now I wanna see what you guys come up with next. I feel like I’m being discriminated against for what reason I don’t know but I feel I am first it’s everything is great then it’s well this happened and we need this I only have but so much time to qualify for this program and time is running out and I keep getting the run around

All the criticism in comments are created by tenants but management gets the blame. How can management be blamed for not cleaning up roach- and rat-attracting garbage? Given the size of the apartment complex, the only way it will look nice is with efforts from all tenants.

My apartment is actually decent , HOWEVER ... they don’t have Parking which is a huge problem when there are 2 churches on the block and about 20 handicap by the entrance , with my toddler I had to walk 2 blocks just to come through the main entrance since they locked down the whole complex with gates, there’s no way for us to cut through with groceries or even laundry . I just wish they had a parking lot for the residence or open the gates . Cant even have company because nobody wants to walk a mile or so just to visit.
