Ashford Pecan Grove Apartments

I used to like living there, but lately I don’t know what happened with these apartments. There is never anyone in the offices, you call and they don’t answer the phone, and nothing ever gets resolved. At the time, I spent months asking them to come check my garage because I was having problems, and they never did anything. I ended up moving out. I believe the office staff is not doing their job properly.

We enjoyed our time at Ashford Pecan Grove, the apartments feel more like homes and the surrounding area is in a quiet and peaceful part of Baytown. Our apartment was well insulated for sound and we really liked the layout and how bright it was. The value for what it is and with a backyard, comparable to what you’d pay in surrounding cities, is remarkable. They were very helpful to us when we moved in right after Hurricane Beryl. There were 3 apartment managers during the year we were there. The current manager splits their time at other properties which makes communication slow. It is a very small property so it doesn’t get a lot of attention but it’s still a nice place to live. Made an appointment to see their available rental two times the first time the office was closed and the woman there said they only do showings on Tuesday and Thursday even though their website allowed me to make an appointment on a Monday. The second time was today 7/24/25 which is a Thursday I even called ahead of time and when I spoke to the gentleman in the office he told me they were open until 5 because I wanted to make sure my appointment was still open. I left my job for the second time to go see the unit and when I got there they told me the woman who does the showings left early for the day and no one else can show the unit. The neighborhood looked nice, but after these 2 times we are no longer interested in trying to see the unit let alone living in a place where the management

I’ve had an amazing experience at Pecan Grove!Jennifer is super professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents. Having a backyard and a driveway is a great plus! Definitely would recommend to everyone!

UPDATE 4-2-21: I had moved out to take care of a few things, but couldn't wait to move back! Just moved back in because I loved living here so much. The management and the neighbors are wonderful and the neighborhood is quite pleasant with plenty of mature shade trees. The best place I have ever lived, hands down. I have just applied for a duplex at Pecan Grove and I can't wait to move in! Ms. Mary was extremely helpful with the entire process and very accommodating of my work schedule. I loved everything about the particular unit I chose except for lack of carpet in the bedrooms. While I was taking pictures of the unit, Mary was able to arrange for carpet to be installed as soon as they receive my approval.
