Ansley Place Apartments

The apartment complex itself is pretty and nice, but we have had repeated issues since moving in. Firstly, there are SO MANY ANTS. We are on the third floor and there are constantly ants, despite them spraying for bugs (a service we are forced to pay for monthly). We are not messy, it is not because there is food lying around. There are just ants on all of the baseboards! When I brought it up during a maintenance inspection, I was just told "oh yeah, they get bad when it rains"..... on the third floor?? There are also so many wasp nests in the stairwell that never get dealt with, because "they just can't keep up with them". Then why do I pay for pest control?? Aside from that, we received no response and seemingly no help when making multiple complaints about a neighbor using a sound syst

We have been living here for 2 years. Management has been great to us and any problems we have are taken care of pretty quickly. We’ve had a few jerk neighbors but most have been decent folks, some have been wonderful. The jerks are the type that leave their cigarette butts on the stairways, illegally park in handicapped spots or have bully, destructive kids. Things are constantly being upgraded or replaced here. I was so happy when the gym equipment was all replaced!

I moved here from Texas about 4 months ago. .Katy has been great to work with . I really like the apartment itself. Have had maintenance issues but they were promptly taken care of. The trash guy is super nice and offers to help with heavy items if he notices you have one to take inside. I do wish they would do breezeway power washes so the dirt dawbers and other bugs weren’t covering walls and doorways. Shrubbery tends to get too high and block my nice view of the pond. My real complaint and also why at 11 pm I am writing this is that there is absolutely no noise barrier between floors. No carpet in 2nd floor apt, above me and they have no respect! All I hear is thud bam thud bam stomping feet, and it’s extremely loud! Anytime the toilet flushes it sounds like a heavy object drops on the

Pros: maintenance responds very quickly (usually same day) to requests and are lovely people. The common areas are very well maintained. The office staff are very professional and accommodating. Cons: I hope you like wasps and a stupid high electric bill. Wasps completely infest the place, especially the third floor units. They come through the electrical and air vents and despite paying for pest control there are nests absolutely everywhere. The buildings were also not built well so the doors don’t sit properly in the frames and the insulation is poor. Which means you’ll be paying $100 for electric even if you live with the lights off and only run the AC for a couple of hours at night. It’s like living in a wasp infested paper box. I have been here For 8 years and have had a wonderful stay. Hopefully I can remain for many more - my only complaint is that my original apartment still is not totally fixed since the hurricane but they have had problems ordering countertops and cabinets. I would love to move back because the apartment that I am in right now is a two-bedroom which is very nice but $400 above what I was originally paying in my one bedroom one. Hopefully the materials will come in soon. The office and maintenance personnel have all been very wonderful so I have no complaints there. Wonderful place to live.
