Amicus Troy Off Campus Student Housing

Amicus has been an all around fantastic organization to rent from. As a house of both recent grads and active students, amicus (and Colin specifically) was very accommodating and outgoing when giving us tours of properties in Troy. The house we ultimately settled on has provided all of the amenities we could need (parking space, appliances, backyard, etc.) while also feeling like a home away from home during the school year. In the event of a maintenance request, amicus has been incredibly responsive, typically showing up within a couple hours of the request to resolve whatever may be the problem. The rates are reasonable but are even more justified by their service, friendliness, and community building efforts among amicus renters in the area. Would recommend!

I’ve been an Amicus tenant for the past three years while studying at RPI, and my experience has been great and continues to get better each year. Colin Sinnott, my landlord, is always responsive and helpful with any questions about my lease. Amicus also makes a real effort to build community through events like a recent one with a food truck, lawn games, and music. They’re continuously improving their properties too, and my building’s interior was renovated this past summer. Highly recommend Amicus to anyone looking for quality housing near RPI!

I have been renting with Amicus for the past three years and it has been a great experience! I was looking to live with a large group, and Amicus was very accommodating to help us tour apartments and set up leases. In the three years since, Amicus has worked with us and we have had a great experience. I would highly recommend to RPI students looking for off campus housing!

Rented with amicus for 2 years and had a great experience. They were very up front about everything and maintenance was always quick. Colin was a pleasure to work with, and half the reason we didn’t even look at other options our second year. Other than a rent hike, I’ve got nothing to complain about.
