America's Home Place - Greenville, SC

We started looking into America's Home Place 10 years ago. We really liked the product because they simplified the building process. Instead of dealing with a builder and multiple contractors, and having to be available to handle anything that comes up, America's Home Place is the only one we dealt with. From picking a plan, to customization, and picking colors to fixtures their process makes every aspect simplified and streamlined. Being able to walk into model homes and see different products was helpful. We found all the employees from sales to our construction coordinator extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. We not only would recommend them, we would build with them again.

A 100% honest review of our experience: I've been in the construction industry for over 43 years, which can be both a plus and a minus when someone else is building your home. I wanted to build it myself, but due to the lack of skilled labor, I decided to go with a regional builder. AHP has excellent pricing per square foot, and they will make modifications to their floor plans to meet your needs. We had a rough start to our project, and I'm sure it was due to a lack of skilled labor locally here in Western North Carolina. Once Chris Munsey took the reigns, things began to go the way they should have. He was super professional and knowledgeable. He made sure my wife and myself for the most amazing end product. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were able to choose a floor plan that perfectly fit our family of five and customize it to make it truly our own. Morgan was incredibly helpful in walking us through the plan and making all of our adjustments, while Gracie made the design process enjoyable by helping us select colors and finishes that look amazing together. Devon took excellent care of us during the site prep and foundation phase, keeping everything moving smoothly. Once construction began, Cooper took the reins.. This was our first experience in having a custom home built. We overall enjoyed working with Americas Home Place and the Greenville staff.
