Americana Simi Valley

I was a tenant for Americana from 2022-2026. From my four years of experience I have a lot to cover, but I'll try to break it down in sections; APARTMENT: My unit came with brand new appliances, and besides having to replace a shower head and a window leak fix, I had zero major maintenance casualties living here. A couple of really nice features to note as well; the unit had USB outlets in the kitchen and bedroom walls, which were super useful to have. The other is the kitchen island doubled as additional cabinet spaces, something I rarely see other apartments contain. In terms of Amenities, water isn't charged, so if you are a sucker for baths and long showers, this place may be up your alley. I’ve been a tenant here for a little under a year now. I have to say it’s been a great experience, especially as a first time renter. The staff, all the way from the maintenance guys to the office ladies, they all do a great job. Rent is also very competitive and fair, especially by SoCal standards. If you ever want a great conversation, talk to Claudia!

Great place to live! We were here for almost 6 years. The Americana Apartments will always hold a special place in our hearts. Community is very quiet, and all neighbors are very friendly and respectful. April the community manager is amazing!She is so understanding and was always so very kind to us. Claudia is also very nice and helpful. Maintenance does a great job keeping the community clean. Thank you to April, Claudia and staff for everything!

I lived here for 2 years.I'm a young professional.At the time I was looking forward to Simi Valley's relaxed suburban atmosphere. things started going downhill the more I interacted with the property manager (April) [RCMI property management]. 1. VISITING PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED which is very limiting. When i did have to clear things up about my guest bringing their service dog I was approached with combativeness and referred to deal with their lawyers. 2. HOSTILE / MOODY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL. One of the maintenance guys banged on my door after he unsuccessfully tried to fix my kitchen sink the first time and he conducted himself with a horribly negative and confrontational attitude. 3. UNFRIENDLY/HOSTILE PROPERTY MANAGER. She won't hesitate to aggressively snap at you when you inquire on

Manager was amazing Claudia Valle ! Made me feel right at home. Property was clean, friendly and quiet.
