I moved to Salisbury to take up a position as an Assistant Professor at Catawba College, and rented a duplex managed by APM. The condition of the property at move-in was unacceptable: overflowing trash bins left from the previous tenant, built-up dirt and grime, cobwebs, and multiple defects including a hole in the ceiling, torn window screens, and chipping paint. Several smoke detectors were nonfunctional because they had no batteries—a clear violation of NC General Statute § 42-42 and basic fire safety codes. Been with them about 2 and 1/2 yrs and very pleased so far. Crystal who works at the front desk is very helpful when you call in and need to talk with her about any issues. She also tries to get back with you as soon as she can get an answer/resolution for you. I appreciate her going above and beyond for her tenants.

In my experience American Property Managers has been incredible. I’ve been a customer for a long time and there’s never been a repair unfixed or a concern unaddressed. Anytime anything comes up all it takes is a phone call and APM responds in a snap. Their roster of contractors is extensive so I never have to worry. I know that any work needed will be well done and finished quickly! Just like with any business there have been some staffing changes over the years but what I have found to be consistent is the high level of service and kindness.
