I had previously given Altoona Towers a 5 star review, but this apartment is now under new ownership and management. So to offset my previous 5-star review, I am giving a 1-star rating. For the first three months under new ownership, they have had inspections coming and going through our apartments. They added a “liability fee” to my statement without any explanation. Still a decent place to live, but beware Altoona towers is no longer owned and managed by competent caring people. This building is owned by a hedge fund or something, and their new manager is incompetent and just follows procedure of tacking on fees with no explanation. When I called in asking about the liability fee is when I discovered how incompetent the new manager is. IMO she’s the worst kind of incompetent, because
Previously had rated Altoona towers 5* but they are under new ownership and management. They have charged me new bogus fees for 4 consecutive months since new ownership and management took over. Looking at my bill history I’m charged a fee, fee removed, fee charged fee removed fee charged fee removed. 4 months of this.. In order to remove the bogus fee, they want documents uploaded to different online portals and emailed to people in 3 different offices. All because they have a bad new document/record keeping system, I have to jump thru the hoops to get this removed. Save yourself the headache and hassle and find an apartment that’s owned and managed by competent people.
Chris fixed the door lock and needed to drill and replace some metal. He did an excellent job.5 stars well deserved. Conner also did an excellent job drilling and fixing lock
These are the nicest, cleanest, and most peaceful apartments we have lived in. And I have been in 12 states for work but hands down these take the cake. And the staff is always nice and accommodating as well!!
Ive enjoyed the apartments a lot queit neighbors kind and helpful staff and maintenance crew. Chris and Connar are honestly the funniest maintenance crew and hardworking
