Allen Building Inspections

My experience with city of Allen was pretty challenging until I encountered an inspector by name of Doug. Doug actually cares and goes above and beyond to make sure you get to where you need to be. Maybe if they made Doug responsible for training these other inspectors these reviews would go up.

I scheduled an inspection on a certain day and it turns out they were not going to even be there, and I wouldn’t have known until I myself called at 2 pm, and I ask the lady why is it that I was not told and she responded by saying they don’t have the man power or the time to call people and let them know that something is rescheduled. Horrible answer if you ask me. I have my guys out there waiting for them and they tell me they don’t have the time to at least let me know??

Responsive, best way to place a inspection is probably calling in and it isn't a long wait like other City's. Don't do same day inspection or response/check email often from my experience.

We had 2 inspectors to the house both were very helpful and professional.
