Allegro

I’ve lived at Allegro Apartments for three years, and my experience has been mixed. To be fair, the manager is very nice, and the maintenance staff is generally okay and responsive. My first unit was good, and I had no major issues during that time. However, things changed when I had to move into a smaller unit. That unit was a completely different story. It was old and felt poorly maintained. I had mold growing inside, and although maintenance came out to clean it, my family still experienced breathing issues. Problems were constant: the closet doors were falling apart, the kitchen light stopped working, the washer and fridge leaked, and the stove kept breaking. This is a great property to live at. Samantha and Lupe are always super friendly, helpful and responsive and Dan the maintenance guy is fast, efficient and friendly as well. You can't beat the location which is super walkable with shopping and restaurants all just steps away. The units are a little outdated and the property needs a little TLC but I still recommend living here with great amenities like a pool, gym and a racquetball court.

I needed a place to move to because I am going through a divorce and selling my home. Samantha answered all my questions regarding the property and help us tour the property. We have been here and love it very much! They are prompt about fixing any issues that arise. The neighbors are very nice. Also, I feel very safe here. Also, everything is so close by! We are saving money by walking to the local stores. Also, Dan the maintenance guy is wonderful as well as the other staff on site.

Overall I’ve had a pretty good experience. The management team and maintenance team have taken most of concerns seriously. My apartment wasn’t the cleanest upon move in which was pretty frustrating but they resolved that quickly. Occasionally they don’t respond to my emails but I give them the benefit of doubt as I imagine they have a a lot of emails and bigger fish to fry. There will always be some bad neighbors that don’t follow rules at the end of the day. Lots of dog poop and sometimes garbage strewn around but that’s apartment living for you. Personally, my neighbors are quiet which I know is rare. The maintenance team is never intrusive ie: they’re not performing multiple inspections a year and they get their work done quickly. We have been living at Allegro for about a year and a half now. It’s a great area and close to anything you could need. Most even walking distance. Very friendly staff, and Dan is the Man!
